Antiplatelet medications are a class of medications used by patients who have suffered a heart attack or stroke. They have been shown to significantly reduce rates of heart attacks and strokes, but patients need to remain compliant with the prescribed regimen for proper effectiveness and must take antiplatelets consistently as instructed. If you missed a dose of antiplatelet medication and are unsure of what to do, see below the guidance for each antiplatelet medication available.

If you have additional questions about antiplatelet medications or what to do if you missed a dose of antiplatelet medication, you could always chat with a pharmacist online 24/7.
